Hot take — and I’ll stand by it.
Most swing training aids? I’d avoid them entirely.
Ten years ago.
Today.
Even twenty years ago.
Why? Because most of them try to force your body into one “perfect” position.
The problem with most training aids is they ask your body to do something it either:
• Can’t do
• Or can’t repeat with ease
And golf isn’t about effort.
It’s about repeatable motion that feels natural.
You should be able to swing without feeling like you’re fighting yourself.
That starts with knowing what your body is capable of first — then building your swing around that.
Not the other way around.
That’s my take.
